In Hiragana, to create a double consonant sound (glottal
stop/pause), the small 'tsu' (っ) character is used. This is called "Sokuon".
When pronouncing, the consonant sound of the character following the small 'tsu' is
doubled (or a small pause is made).
(හිරගනා අකුරු හල් කිරීම සඳහා කුඩා っ අකුර (Sokuon) භාවිතා කරනු ලැබේ. එය කියවීමේදී
එම කුඩා っ අකුරට පිටුපසින් ඇති අකුරේ හල් අකුර භාවිතා කරයි.)
